I live in Bloomington, Indiana with my amazing family as we pastor Genesis Church. I grew up all over New York and have been in church my entire life. During my childhood and teenage years, I have seen many different expressions of Christianity and the Church. However, it wasn’t until my freshman year of high school that I encountered the God I knew about in a very real and raw way. That night altered the course of my life.

I have been in full-time ministry for over 13 years and have seen the best and worst of humanity, church, and Christianity. In that time, God has called me to several specific tasks as I pastor and lead:

  1. Lead people to a correct, biblical image of God, as revealed in the person of Jesus Christ

  2. Lead people into a deeply spiritual, balanced, and healthy form of discipleship

  3. Lead churches into a shift away from overly-institutionalized Christianity and towards an organic, incarnational community expression of the local church that transforms their surrounding regions

I am passionate about helping people understand their freedom in Christ, their lives as Christians under the New Covenant, and their God-given purpose in the world as citizens of His kingdom.

I hold the conviction that there has never been a single generation on Earth that did not have the capacity to see every person on the planet presented with the Gospel through intentional, exponential discipleship.

The Kingdom has come. The harvest is ripe. This is the most exciting time in history to follow Jesus.
